CornerSpot limits how many of your agents can be Active — receiving live chats — at the same time. This guide explains those concurrent agent slots, where to see how many are in use, and how the Live Active Agents add-on adds more capacity.
Where to find your concurrent connections
Open the Active agents tab in Live Chat Settings at /dashboard/chat/settings/active-agents (you can also reach this view from the presence popover in the inbox). The top card is your Concurrent connections meter.

The meter reads “{in use} / {limit} in use” — for example “2 / 5 in use.” If your plan grants unlimited connections, it instead shows “{in use} in use · unlimited” and the limit-related controls are hidden.
How a slot is consumed
Each agent who flips to Active in the chat inbox consumes one slot, and keeps it until they switch to Away or Offline. When every slot is in use you've hit your team's cap, and additional agents are blocked from going Active until a slot frees up.
Add capacity with the Live Active Agents add-on
Need more agents online at once? Click “+ Add 5 more slots” on the Concurrent connections card (or the Add Slots prompt that appears in the inbox presence popover when all slots are full).
The Live Active Agents add-on grants 5 additional concurrent connections per purchase. You can add more than one pack if your team needs even more capacity.
See who's using your slots
Below the meter, the Active right now list shows every agent who is currently Active (with their last-heartbeat time), and Other team members shows everyone else and their status. Together they tell you exactly who is using your concurrent connections.
Free a slot without buying more
As an admin you don't always need to add capacity. Next to any agent in the Active right now list there's a Set offline button — clicking it moves that agent to Offline and immediately releases their concurrent-connection slot for someone else.
At a glance
- Concurrent connections caps how many agents can be Active at once — “{in use} / {limit} in use” (or unlimited on plans that grant it).
- Each agent who goes Active uses one slot until they go Away or Offline; reaching the cap blocks more agents from going Active.
- The Live Active Agents add-on grants +5 concurrent connections per purchase via “+ Add 5 more slots” / Add Slots.
- Admins can free a slot anytime with Set offline — no purchase required.
