How to find conversations in your Live Chat Inbox in CornerSpot

Every live chat — from your Cornerspot website, the Members Portal, or any external site you've embedded the widget on — lands in one shared Live Chat Inbox at /dashboard/chat/inbox. This guide shows you how to find any conversation fast with search, filters, sorting, and pagination.

1. Search by name or keyword

Type a visitor's name or a keyword into the “Search conversations…” box at the top of the inbox. The list narrows as you type to just the matching conversations.

2. Switch the queue

Use the queue dropdown to choose which conversations you see: Mine (assigned to you), Unassigned (waiting to be claimed), or All. All is the default.

3. Filter by status

Use the status dropdown to focus on Open conversations, Closed ones, or Away - Converted to Support Ticket (chats an offline visitor turned into a support ticket). You can pick more than one status to broaden the view.

4. Manage active filters with chips

Every filter you apply shows up as a removable chip beneath the toolbar. Click the × on a chip to drop just that filter, or use Clear all to reset the inbox to every conversation.

6. Adjust the page size

At the bottom of the table, the pagination control lets you change how many conversations show per page (10, 25, 50, or 100) and step through pages when the list is long.

What the inbox columns tell you

Each row gives you the essentials at a glance:

  • Visitor — the visitor's name or email, or “Anonymous visitor” when they haven't been identified.
  • Status — an Open, Closed, or “Away - Converted to Support Ticket” badge.
  • Assignee — the agent who claimed it, or “Unassigned”.
  • Origin — the host the chat started from (for example your website or a Members Portal address).
  • Last activity — when the most recent message was sent.

Click any row to open the full conversation. Together, search, the queue and status filters, sortable columns, and pagination make it quick to locate any conversation — whether you're picking up a new chat or tracking down an old one.
