By default, every embedded CornerSpot live-chat panel shows a small “Powered by Cornerspot” credit at the bottom. With the white-label add-on, you can hide that credit — or show it again — from one switch in your chat settings. This guide walks you through it.
How to show or hide the “Powered by Cornerspot” branding
The control lives on the Look & feel card in Live Chat Settings → Branding, at /dashboard/chat/settings/branding.
1. Open Live Chat Settings → Branding
From the Live Chat hub, open Live Chat Settings and select the Branding tab. The first card, Look & feel, holds your widget styling — and the branding toggle.
2. Find the “Powered by Cornerspot branding” row
Near the top of the Look & feel card is the Powered by Cornerspot branding row. It explains that the toggle “shows a small Cornerspot credit at the bottom of every embedded live-chat panel.”
3. Switch the toggle off to hide the credit
Click the toggle to turn it off. Hiding the credit requires the white-label add-on — if your plan doesn't include it, clicking the toggle opens an upgrade prompt instead, and a “White-label add-on” lock chip appears on the row. Once white-label is active (as it is here), the toggle flips straight off.
4. The change saves instantly
This toggle saves on its own the moment you flip it — there's no separate Save changes step for it. All future widget instantiations pick up the change automatically — no snippet update required. Anywhere your widget is embedded — your CornerSpot website, the Members Portal, or an external site — the credit disappears on the next load.
5. Switch it back on any time
Re-enabling the credit is always allowed, even without white-label. Click the toggle again to switch it back on, and the credit returns on the next widget load.
Good to know
- Hiding the credit needs the white-label add-on. Turning the toggle off without it opens an upgrade prompt; the row shows a “White-label add-on” lock chip until you have it.
- Re-enabling is always free. You can switch the credit back on at any time, with or without the add-on.
- No re-embedding required. The change applies to every embedded widget — your CornerSpot site, the Members Portal, and external embeds — automatically on the next load.
