How to review form submissions in CornerSpot

Every time someone fills out one of your forms — on your website, through a shareable link, or in your Members portal — the entry lands in one place: the Submissions inbox. This guide shows you how to read those entries, expand a submission to see every answer, and jump to the contact behind it so you can follow up.

How to review form submissions in Cornerspot

You'll find every entry in the Submissions area of your dashboard.

1. Open Submissions

From the dashboard, open Forms in the left-hand menu and choose Submissions (or go straight to /dashboard/form-submissions). Every submission from every channel collects here in one inbox, with the newest at the top.

2. Read the columns

Each row is one submission. The columns give you the essentials at a glance:

  • Submitted — a relative time (like "2 hours ago"); hover it to see the exact date.
  • Form — which form the entry came from.
  • Contact — a link to the matched CRM contact, or Anonymous if no contact could be matched.
  • Preview — a short snippet of the submission's content.
  • Status — see below.

3. Check the status

The Status badge tells you where each entry stands:

  • Pending — received and waiting to be processed.
  • Processed — fully handled (the contact was matched or created and the answers attached).
  • Failed — something went wrong processing the entry.

4. Expand a submission

Click any row — or its chevron — to expand it and see the full submission.

5. Read every answer and the metadata

The expanded view lists every field answer the visitor entered, plus useful metadata such as the referring page the form was submitted from and the IP address it came from — handy context when you're qualifying a lead or investigating a strange entry.

6. Open the linked contact to follow up

When a submission is matched to a contact, the Contact column is a link. Click the contact's name to open their CRM record, where you can see their history and take the next step — send an email, assign an owner, or move them along your pipeline.

Where submissions come from

Submissions flow into this one inbox no matter how the form was shared — embedded on your website, opened from a shareable link, or filled out in your Members portal — and each entry is tagged with its source. Cornerspot matches the submitter to an existing contact by email or phone, and if there's no match it creates a new contact as a lead, so reviewing your inbox doubles as keeping your CRM up to date.

Tips

  • Use the Search box and the Form, Status, and date filters to narrow a busy inbox down to what you need.
  • Click the Submitted or Status column headers to sort.
  • Open the linked contact straight from a submission to follow up while the lead is fresh.
