Getting started with E-Signatures in CornerSpot

CornerSpot E-Signatures is where you prepare documents, send them out for legally binding electronic signature, and track them all the way to completion — without leaving your CRM. This guide gives you a quick tour of the area and its main entry points so you know your way around before you send your first document.

The two things you manage here

Everything in E-Signatures revolves around two ideas:

  • Envelopes — a document, or set of documents, sent to specific people to sign. An envelope holds the files, the recipients, the fields they fill in, and its current status.
  • Templates — reusable envelope blueprints for the contracts you send often, so you don’t rebuild the same paperwork every time.

Keep an eye on pending signatures from your dashboard

Right on your CornerSpot home, a dashboard widget surfaces documents that are still awaiting signature — each one’s subject, the recipient, and when it was sent — so contracts don’t stall while you wait on a signer. Click through any row to jump straight to the envelope and take action.

The E-Signatures page

Open E-Sign from the left-hand menu to reach your envelope list at /dashboard/esign/envelopes. This is the home of the feature, where you create, find, and manage everything.

Start a new envelope

The New envelope button in the top-right opens a side panel where you give the envelope a subject and attach one or more PDFs — the starting point for sending any document for signature.

Reuse a template

The Templates button takes you to your reusable blueprints. When you find yourself sending the same contract again and again, save it as a template once and start from it every time after that.

Track every envelope by status

The list shows each envelope’s status at a glance, and you can filter by it from the toolbar. Every envelope moves through a clear lifecycle:

  • Draft — still being prepared and fully editable.
  • Sent — out for signature, with signing links emailed to recipients.
  • Completed — everyone has signed.
  • Declined — a recipient declined to sign.
  • Voided — cancelled after being sent.
  • Expired — the signing window passed before completion.

Attach a contract to a CRM deal

Because E-Signatures lives inside CornerSpot, you can attach a contract directly to a CRM deal so it sends automatically as the deal progresses — and so the paperwork always lives alongside the opportunity. You’ll find the e-signature panel on the deal form.

A note on availability

E-Signatures is available on plans that include the feature. If your plan includes it, you’ll see the full E-Signatures page as shown here; if not, you’ll see an option to add it.

Where to go next

Now that you know the lay of the land, here are good next steps:

  • Create a new envelope — add a subject and a PDF, then open the builder.
  • Add recipients and place fields — choose who signs and where.
  • Send for signature — and track it to completion from the list.
