The menu down the side of your members portal is how customers move between paying invoices, managing subscriptions, reviewing documents, and getting support. CornerSpot ships those sections with sensible default names — but if your customers use different terminology (say, Billing instead of Invoices), you can rename any section so the menu speaks their language. This guide shows you how.
How to rename a section in your member portal menu in Cornerspot
Section names live in Portal Settings, on the Branding tab, under Portal menu. Renaming a section only changes the label your customers see — it doesn’t move or hide the section, and the links keep working exactly as before.
1. Open Portal Settings
From the dashboard, open Members Portal in the left-hand menu, then choose Portal Settings. You’ll land on the Branding tab, where the portal menu options live.

2. Find the Portal menu
Scroll down the Branding tab to the Portal menu card. It lists every section that can appear in your portal’s sidebar — Dashboard, Invoices, Subscriptions, Payment methods, Billing history, Documents, and more. Each row has a toggle to show or hide the section and a field to rename it.

3. Type a new label
In the row for the section you want to rename, type the new wording into the label field (it shows a placeholder like “Override label (default: Invoices)”). Here we rename Invoices to Billing. Leave a field blank to keep that section’s built-in name.

4. Save your changes
Click Save changes. The new label is applied to the portal on each member’s next load — there’s nothing for your customers to do.

See it in your members portal
When a member signs in to your portal, the sidebar now uses your wording. The Invoices section reads Billing — but it still opens the same invoices page, so nothing breaks for your customers.

More ways to tailor your portal menu
- Show or hide sections: Use the toggle in each row to remove sections your customers don’t need from the portal sidebar.
- Restore a default name: Clear a label field and save to drop the override and return that section to its built-in name.
- Brand the whole portal: Set your logo, brand name, and accent color from the same Branding tab so the portal looks entirely like yours.
