Sometimes you need to share a document — an onboarding packet, a contract, a price list — with everyone at a customer account, not just one person. In CornerSpot you can attach a document to a CRM account, and every portal member who belongs to that account sees it under Shared with your account in their members portal. This guide shows you how.
How to share documents with everyone at an account in CornerSpot
Account documents are managed from the account’s record in your CRM, on its Documents tab. Here’s the quickest path, start to finish.
1. Open the account and its Documents tab
From your CRM, open the account you want to share with. On the account page, find the tabs along the top and open Documents — it lives under the More menu alongside the account’s other records.


2. Click Upload document
Click Upload document to open the upload panel. Anything you add here is shared with the whole account — every portal member who belongs to it.
3. Give the document a title
Enter a clear Title — this is the name your customers see in their portal. You can also add an optional description with a short note about what’s inside or how it should be used.

4. Choose the file
Under File, choose the document from your computer. CornerSpot accepts PDFs, Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), images, and plain text, up to 10 MB per file.

5. Upload
Click Upload. The document is added to the account immediately and appears in the account’s Documents list — there’s nothing else for you to do.

What your customers see
Every portal member who belongs to the account finds the document on their Documents page, under Shared with your account, ready to download — no extra setup on their end.

Good to know
- Account-wide visibility: Account documents are visible to everyone who belongs to the account. To share with just one person, use the Documents section on that individual portal user’s record instead.
- Other ways to share: You can also share documents with all of your members at once from Portal Settings → Documents.
- Replace or remove: Edit a document to swap its file, or remove it from the account’s Documents tab — the change takes effect in the portal right away.
- Supported files: PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, and text files up to 10 MB each.
