How to customize your member portal's login greeting in CornerSpot

The login greeting is a short, friendly line that appears on your members portal's sign-in page, just below your name. It's the first thing customers read when they arrive — a great spot for a warm welcome, a quick reassurance, or a short instruction. This guide shows you how to set it.

How to customize your member portal's login greeting in Cornerspot

The login greeting lives in Portal Settings, on the Branding tab. Here's the quickest path, start to finish.

1. Open Portal Settings

From the dashboard, open Members Portal in the left-hand menu, then choose Portal Settings. You'll land on the Branding tab, where the greeting and your portal's other look-and-feel options live.

2. Type your login greeting

Find the Login Screen Greeting field and type the message you'd like members to see — for example, "Welcome back — sign in to manage your account." Keep it short: the field allows up to 120 characters, so a single welcoming sentence works best. Leave it blank to show no greeting at all.

3. Save your changes

Click Save changes. Your greeting is applied to the portal's sign-in page on each visitor's next load — there's nothing for your customers to do.

See it in your members portal

Open your portal address to see the result. The greeting now welcomes visitors right on the sign-in page, before anyone even logs in.

Tips for a great greeting

  • Keep it short. One welcoming sentence reads best under your name; the field caps at 120 characters.
  • Set the tone. Use it to reassure, welcome back returning customers, or point them to what they can do once signed in.
  • Clear it anytime. Empty the field and save to remove the greeting completely.

More ways to brand your portal

  • Brand name & logo: Show your name and logo on the sign-in page and sidebar from the same Branding tab.
  • Accent color: Tint buttons, links, and the active menu item to match your brand.
  • Your own domain: Start on a free Cornerspot subdomain, then attach a custom domain from the Domain tab so the portal lives on your address.
