How to update a activity in CornerSpot

Activities are the running record of every call, email, meeting, task, and note in your CRM — and the details often change after you log them. A call gets rescheduled, a quick note turns into a full write-up, or a follow-up needs a clearer subject. In Cornerspot you can update an activity in seconds, right from the Activities table. This guide shows you how.

How to update an activity in Cornerspot

Editing an activity takes just a few clicks from the Activities page — no need to open a separate screen.

1. Find the activity and open it

From the dashboard, open Activities. Locate the activity you want to update and click anywhere on its row to open it. (You can also use the pencil (Edit activity) icon in the Actions column of the row.)

2. The Edit Activity panel opens

An Edit Activity panel slides in from the right, pre-filled with everything you already logged for this activity. Change any field you need.

3. Update the details

Change whatever you need to. In this example we update the Subject and add a note to the Details — you can also change the activity type, who or what it's related to, the date and time it occurred, the owner, and the status the same way. (If you switch the type to Task, a Due date field appears.)

4. Save your changes

Click Save changes. Your edits are saved instantly and the activity’s row updates to reflect the new details.

  • Related record: The account, contact, or deal the activity is linked to shows the latest details on its own timeline automatically.
  • Calendar view: Change the date or time an activity occurred and it moves to the right spot in the Activities calendar.

  • Keep the subject clear and specific so the activity is easy to scan in the list.

  • Add context in the Details field after the fact — notes, outcomes, and next steps live alongside the activity.
