How to delete a activity in CornerSpot

As your team logs calls, emails, meetings, tasks, and notes, the occasional activity ends up out of place — a duplicate entry, a test record, or something logged against the wrong contact. In Cornerspot you can delete an activity in seconds, right from the Activities table. And because deletes are recoverable for 30 days, you can tidy up your timeline confidently. This guide shows you how.

How to delete an activity in Cornerspot

Deleting an activity takes just a few clicks from the Activities page — no need to open the record first.

1. Find the activity and click the trash icon

From the dashboard, open Activities. Locate the activity you want to remove and click the trash (Delete activity) icon at the end of its row.

2. Review the confirmation

A confirmation dialog appears so you don't delete anything by accident. It also reminds you that the activity isn't gone for good — deleted items can be restored from Trash for 30 days.

3. Confirm the deletion

Click the Delete button in the dialog to confirm. The activity is removed from your Activities list immediately and a confirmation message appears.

4. The activity is removed

The activity drops out of the list right away, and a toast confirms “Deleted items can be restored from Trash for 30 days.” That's all there is to it.

What happens when you delete an activity

Deleting an activity in Cornerspot is a soft delete. The activity is hidden from your Activities list — both the list and calendar views — and excluded from filters and searches, but it is not permanently erased straight away:

  • 30-day recovery window: Both the confirmation dialog and the success message state that deleted items can be restored from Trash for 30 days.
  • Restore or remove for good: Administrators can open Settings → Trash to see recently deleted records, restore an activity, or permanently delete it before the window ends.
  • Related records stay put: Deleting an activity does not remove the account, contact, or deal it was linked to — only the activity itself is removed.

How to restore a deleted activity

Changed your mind? As long as you're within the 30-day window, an administrator can recover the activity:

  • Open Settings → Trash.
  • Find the activity in the list of recently deleted records (use the date-range filters, such as Last 7 days or Last 30 days, to narrow it down).
  • Click Restore to bring it back, or permanently delete it if you're sure it's no longer needed.

After 30 days, deleted activities expire from Trash and are removed for good.

Tips for deleting activities safely

  • Use bulk delete for cleanup: Select multiple activities with the row checkboxes and use the bulk Delete action to remove several at once.
  • Don't worry about mistakes: A delete is recoverable for 30 days, so you can tidy up your timeline without fear of losing data.
  • Permanently remove sensitive records: If a record must be erased right away, an administrator can purge it from Settings → Trash.
