Sometimes a product no longer belongs in your catalog — a discontinued plan, a duplicate, or a test entry you created while setting things up. In Cornerspot you can delete a product in seconds, right from the Products table. And because deletes are recoverable for 30 days, you can tidy up your catalog confidently. This guide shows you how.
How to delete a product in Cornerspot
Deleting a product takes just a few clicks from the Products page — no need to open the record first.
1. Select the product
From the dashboard, open Products. Locate the product you want to remove and tick the checkbox at the start of its row.

2. Click the Delete button
As soon as a product is selected, a toolbar appears showing how many products are selected, along with a red Delete button. Click it to start removing the product.

3. Review the confirmation
A confirmation dialog appears so you don't delete anything by accident. Take a moment to make sure you're removing the right product before you continue.

4. Confirm the deletion
Click the Delete button in the dialog to confirm. The product is removed from your Products list immediately and a confirmation message appears.

5. The product is removed
The product drops out of the list right away, and a toast confirms “Deleted items can be restored from Trash for 30 days.” That's all there is to it.

What happens when you delete a product
Deleting a product in Cornerspot is a soft delete. The product is hidden from your Products list and excluded from filters and searches, but it is not permanently erased straight away:
- 30-day recovery window: The success message states that deleted items can be restored from Trash for 30 days.
- Restore or remove for good: Administrators can open Settings → Trash to see recently deleted records, restore a product, or permanently delete it before the window ends.
- Existing deals stay intact: Deals and invoices keep their own snapshot of the product's name, price, and taxes, so removing a product from your catalog doesn't change any line items already recorded against it.
How to restore a deleted product
Changed your mind? As long as you're within the 30-day window, an administrator can recover the product:
- Open Settings → Trash.
- Find the product in the list of recently deleted records (use the date-range filters, such as Last 7 days or Last 30 days, to narrow it down).
- Click Restore to bring it back, or permanently delete it if you're sure it's no longer needed.
After 30 days, deleted products expire from Trash and are removed for good.
Tips for deleting products safely
- Deactivate instead of deleting: If you may need a product again later, consider turning it inactive instead — it stays in your catalog but is hidden from active lists.
- Delete several at once: Select multiple products with the row checkboxes and use the bulk Delete action to remove them together.
- Don't worry about mistakes: A delete is recoverable for 30 days, so you can clean up your catalog without fear of losing data.
- Permanently remove records: If a product must be erased right away, an administrator can purge it from Settings → Trash.
